I've read a bit here and on google but i just wanna make sure by getting an opinion from someone more knowledgeable than myself:
i have a 1998 samurai and my head lights and high beams(both push and pull) won't turn on, but only them. backlights, turn signals, and small lights are all ok.
at first it would turn on after a driving a while but it stopped entirely. it happened once before and i got it fixed but the electrician didn't tell me what was wrong and now no professional is available to fix it.
i checked the fuse in the box and it seems fine. though the box is not like i've seen online, it only has lamp, abs(unpop), batt, a/c, FI so the back board might be fine? this one had quite a few electrical work done like powered windows, disc player and speakers installed so there are a lot of cluttered wires...
so my best guess is the combo switch but im not sure.
i already watched videos on how to change a combination switch but my wheel look a bit different, it's horn has a plastic cover and i dont want to accidentally break it and i can't find a video on how to remove it.
so, please help
. this will be the first time ill try taking apart anything from a vehicle and i don't won't to screw something up.
