Next step is to try and stiffen it up a bit with harder springs
Got to try and work out a plan.

Re: Mikes lwb build and repairs !
My mates truck that’s on portals is around 6 ft 8 inches wide, my car is 6ft 2 inches wide at the moment, so three inches of width gained means il be able to lower the car and keep tyres away from front arms.
Steering I’m not doing hydraulic or anything just using the standard setup, these came of a military vehicle so there very well thought out and strong.
Ratio is 7.56 to one, so going to have to fit a standard transfer box back and see what the gearing it like. Possibly might have to fit a 4 to one to correct the hearing, but we shall see.

Re: Mikes lwb build and repairs !
so portal progress, car goes to james sunderland on the 10th for axles to be fitted.
im changing the 320mm landcruiser discs to hilux mk 1 and machining down to 295mm and using suzuki calipers
this get rid of the need for spacers of any kind.
i have the air actuators arrived from komo in croatia fitted and working.
hopefully around xmas it should be on the way to being done, as going to ireland at end of january !
