I quite like the look of the shackle reversal as well...
Shackle reversal + add a leaf = cheapo calmini 5" combo kit 8-)

havent had any 'thangs diggin in' moments.. so they must be working so well i havent noticed.

yes i have been driving for many years... runs on pig poo.. when i went back in time in needed to convert it... the crusades were easy in the SJ.

bigger boots? hmm.... eventually.. not on my to do list atm.. if i did that i think i need to get me a 410 t box aswell.

TWISS you needs the reversal kit.. your 'thangs' are huge!

twiss ive got add a leaf on all 4 corners and a reverse kit up front and 2 inch shackle on the rear, its not a bad set up now its settled and the leafs have softened
Sid James gone but never forgotten

hahah strange how we ended up discussing the same thing lol

I've got add a leaf on the front so far, with 1.5" shackles on the front, and 3" shackles on the rear

They aren't too bad just on the back though, the steering is nice and sharp... No clearance issues at the front

Have been stuck on the back shackle once but got off it pretty quick... I just haven't bothered getting the front ones yet

SCUK members havent seen my new SJ yet.

here be she.. i call her francheska... no idea...why.

anyways. shes an odd beast... other than the 16" rims and bubble tyres.... and the leather seats out of erm a rover or something..... its standard.

i havent got rid of the post van..... i just have two zooks. and 5 boxes of spares.... most of which contain spares form the blue zook one from first page

and an unknown E reg sj that was in bits in the back of my new sj...

what ya think?

all she needs is slight dorr sill repair and an engine with a big end that doesnt sounds like aids.
