Ordered Parts water pump, timing kit and fan belt, should be here Thursday.
Might just find someone that knows what there doing to fit them, rather then me balls it up as usual.

Well looks like I'm gonna have to have a go Myself, local 4x4 place quoted me £140 just for Labour, I'm getting parts myself.
How long should this job take by a qualified Mechanic ?,
Been looking at a few YouTube Vids and it shouldn't take that long.

Drove it a mile up to garage and the bloody pump went just as I was pulling in, water started to come through timing cover, hope it hasnt damaged anything. ?
Cant find any info on how to loosen this bolt on bottom pully, it just keeps turning, Anyone know how to crack it loose ?

Stick it in gear. Get someone to put their foot on the brake and crack the nut.

Nice one Mate, wouldnt have thought of that, shows how thick I am but still gonna have a go tomorrow, better then paying £140 at garage.
Do you think loosing that water through pump will have done any damage ?

Depends how long it ran for and how hot it got.

Well I can now see why garage were going to charge 140 quid.
A lot longer and harder then I thought.
Got it done in a fashion anyway.
Didn't realise that I had to take both top and bottom cogs off to get to the water pump, thought I was going to get it without touching belt.
anyway got it done, only thing the new timing belt was wrong size, so refitted old one back on.
Filed back up with colent and Started up and ran great after warming up, thought it actually went a bit faster then usual.

Good job.
Just make sure that the main crank and cam pulley bolts ae torqued up correctly with a torque wrench. last thing you want is those coming undone and wrecking the keyways.
