Passenger Elec Window Inop

Post by maxaret » Wed Dec 23, 2020 8:57 am

The passenger window on our 2005 GV 1600 has not been working for the last couple of weeks (from either switch).
I was going to leave until the spring but the sun was out yesterday afternoon so I thought I would have an initial look at it,I got as far as unshipping the switch from the door (but not elec disconnected) when I luckily decided to do some googling.
Anyway turns out there is a pax window isolating switch on the drivers door control panel, cleverly positioned so that it is easy to knock and which disables both the passenger switch and the drivers switch.
Definitely a case of RTFM

As you can see - I am not used to these ultra modern cars with too many elec switches :D
