Just about ready for MOT hoping to get it in one day next week, Think we have everything done, except a few things that we can do later , Ordered Speedo Cable not to bad of a job, I Hope. Gonna give the engine and chassis a good jet wash tomorrow.
we also need Coolant, whats the Right stuff for SJ 410, and how much should I put In ??

Good luck with the MOT Border.
Filling with new coolant from scratch ?Or has it still got some old stuff in ?

From Scratch It just has plain water, in at the moment, no Coolant at all.

Drain the water asap or it could freeze...not a good idea! I use blue anti freeze using 50/50 with water. Keep it in all year round. You'll need to burp the system, ie fill it then leave the rad cap off and rev it a bit to expel any bubbles. And buying it on eBay is WAY cheaper than any motor factors!
If it ticks over...leave it

Thanks Mate, I already have some Red but wasnt sure, so will get some blue. so how many litres does the 410 hold, altogether ?

According to an online database the 410 coolant capacity = 3.8 litre (6.7 pints).

Cheers Mate so 3 pints of Coolant and the rest Water sounds about right . I Think ?

Got another couple of problems before MOT, Can solve them afterwards as dont think they are Failures
