I recently lifted my 2.4 auto GV and thought I'd share my experience.
I bought new 2" lift rear springs from Jimny Bits and new front springs from the local motor factors (oem because the old ones were tired). I also bought a set of 2" lift strut top spacers from Jimny Bits.
The front anit-roll bar drop links didn't cooperate so I cut them off and replaced them.
The rear camber bolts were seized in to the bushes so they had to be brutalised and replaced too - all adding to the expense and aggro.
The cost was as follows;
Front springs £124
Rear springs £118
Spacers £106
Drop links £25
Camber bolts, bushes & cams £78
Paying for a full 4-wheel alignment including camber £96.
She's now 2" taller and drives beautifully with no discernable downsides to the alterations. If I keep her, I'll be fitting some larger tyres in the spring for a little more height.
In case it wasn't clear.... If you're considering lifting your GV2, I highly (lol) recommend it
