So just to almost jump on the wagon
As most of you know I own a Norwegian registard LJ80, which seems to be in good nic. Some rust in the foot wells, a little in the rear bed and after poking about with a screwdriver one small hole underneath. Good thing my new neighbor is a qualified welder. I’ve never registered a car, so have no idea how much it will cost, but I recon I’m going to need 3 grand. Hope to have change
So my big idea.........
Who wants to donate to the restoration fund when I start my kickstarter.
What you get, A ride in the finished car, if you are ever here
Your name written somewhere on the finished car
A picture of said car, you can be in it, but as above you need to be here
Might even let you drive it
Some come on lads get in early and let’s get the old girl on the road

Stimpy, not selling mate. Think I just like being able to say I own a LJ
3 grand sounds a lot, but I think I’m going over the top there should be change out of that

£3K for a reg? £25 matey!
Seriously a resto ain't gonna cost that unless you want a minter. And it'll have to be RHD, that will cost oooh...a few quid on welding. Bring it here I'll do it for peanuts. And some money

Well, as for the restaurant, that would be cool. But in terms of contact, I think a restaurant is not enough.donkeychomp wrote: ↑Sat Jan 19, 2019 12:17 am£3K for a reg? £25 matey!
