lambda sensor

hi, just need to know how to wire up a new universal sensor.
my suzuki is a 1993 jlx 1.6i just fail mot on sensor right off the scale.
its a 4 wire job any help gladly received thanks :thumbup:

Welcome to the forum. Could you post up what colour wires you have from the loom to the sensor connector and from the connector to the sensor. Also what universal sensor do you have to fit. Can you also confirm this is the 16V multipoint injection engine. Pics if easier :thumbup:

the wires on the loom are black/ green tracer
black/blue tracer
yellow
white
the wires on the sensor are 2 black 1 blue 1 white

Well I checked multiple charts and they matched with this..

fitted the new sensor all seems ok,,,
will have to wait until its mot on monday :roll:

Need to replace Lambda Sensor on 1992 Suzuki Samarai SJ 1300 . Current one has only one wire can anyone advise is it only one item to replace or is there any other part under the car that needs changing too.
