Ilse Of Wight
The Xl7 got its 1st proper run out last week a nice 216 mile trip Donny to Southampton with 5 people and 5 weeks worth of luggage on board! Jumped on the Ferry then drove from Ryde to Thorness Bay, used just under half a tank to get there which I was more than happy with! Plenty of hills and got to use some of the dirt roads thanks to some diversions/road closures when exploring round the island. Didn't miss a beat all week very impressed with my cheap XL7 so far, now it's time to get her offroad ready

Awesome! Glad you're getting use out of it and enjoying it (which is key!). What are the off road ready plans then?

Some steel wheels with A/Ts and a small lift to give it a bit more clearance to begin with, then upgrade other parts as they need replacing.
