Re: Mikes lwb build and repairs !
So new problem hahaha
Snapped a rob Storr hi steer arm on the passenger side
And I got a winch problem where I don't think there's enough amps, so I got a ls3 Chevy alternator to fit
I got to straighten some body work, finish trimming the sills, and the rear diff pinion oil seal is leaking.
I got another issue is I need some short rear shafts, so I'm going to try and make some spares from my long ones.
Updates to follow

Re: Mikes lwb build and repairs !
Spent two hours cleaning, so boring, next event is first weekend in February so I've got to pull my finger out over next few weekends.
Picked up some spare rcv 33 spline front shafts which I was pleased with, I've never broken one but good to have spares, when the weather gets a bit nicer il spend a bit more time on it, haven't got the tollerance at the moment especially not in the cold !!

Had to replace the starter motor, been using it to drag trees out the woods, and been turning it on and off a lot, luckily had a spare, but last skinny one
Still have to sort out my spares out.

Re: Mikes lwb build and repairs !
Busy day today today built a spare diff up
Put my ring and pinion I had spare in in it, all set up even machined the flange to Toyota.
Not bad for being sat outside for many years hahahaha

Re: Mikes lwb build and repairs !
Next up was look at my truck more broken shafts !
One that's twisted badly is the offside rear
Nearside rear is the broken one with the other end slightly twisted, I thought I broke a front but haven't it's splipped out of 4wd, so il try a nose on the transfer box tomrrow see if that cures it.
More shafts on the way from rockwatt, not long until Scotland now !
Need to fix the x brake I got from Trotter, that's new rules come in I have to abide by.

More work I progress !
24 volt alternator going on, 150amp self exciting from a cat bulldozer
Next once I've done this il need to look at the transfer box that keeps popping out of 4wd
I've still got lots to do before Scotland in a few weeks time
Be the hardest event I've ever done for sure
