Seat belt replacement.

Post by rob381 » Tue May 29, 2018 12:18 pm

Hi guys, the drivers seat belt in my 04 plate 5 door GV has frayed really badly, I know that it will be an MOT fail but really struggling to find another one from any local breakers. Does it have to be straight swap or does anyone know of an alternative that may fit.
Many thanks.

Have you tried something like https://www.breakeryard.com
Or would an older vit one fit
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

Hi Robbie, yeah tried several online websites. Really wanted to pick one up but it looks like I've got to order one online. Prices are coming in at around £50.00. None of the local breakers have any vits in at all.
Regards.

Get some 4 point harnesses. Doddle to fit too. I probably have some Vit ones knocking about no idea if they'd fit but if you want to try one I can send it to you.
If it ticks over...leave it
