Laning trip to the Lake District 2nd Dec 2017
Well another trip out, but this tme with a couple of mates who are Suzuki owners, but use Isuzu's for laning. Very wise considering its just over 100 miles each way for me to get to the STARTING point at Lakeside, Windermere.
I was having a serious rocking with the Samurai when going over 50 mph, and very scary, so it was an even longer and more painful trip than it needed to be. Just after starting out from Lakeside I stopped to check the suspension and tyres. Two tyres were well below 10 PSI, the other two under 20 PSI, mmmm I wonder why the bad handling?
Anyway all was good after a bit of on board air was applied.
A great route, and trouble free, but a VERY long day.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes it was a great day out.
Suzuki Dave, do you do many lanes around North Wales? Or should I say are there many lanes around North Wales, as I have thought about putting a trip together for that area. It's probably no further for me to get there than the Lakes, or North Yorkshire.
I think N Yorkshire will be our next adventure.

North wales is amazing for lanes.
I need to arrange a trip up to the lake district, it looks like there's some good routes.

That will be a long drive for you Scottie.
We have discussed going for a weekend next year. The idea being do the route we did this weekend on day 1, stay over somewhere and do the route in reverse on day 2.
There is the odd lane with a voluntary one way route on, so that would need to be crossed in the same direction both days.
Now I have a nice route, it could be adjusted to add a few different ones in we haven't done before.
I could let you know how things progress, and you could look to tag along.
