Was first mounted under the bumper, but got taken off by a stump, so was agreed to go there. Truth is im not a fan of light bars, don't see what's wrong a good pair of spots, but there you go, I only fix things on it

i'm not 100% sure but i didn't think you were allowed to use off road lights on the road with your traditional road use lights.

Thanks Sherwood, I drilled & tapped into the bb, took a while to get everything perfectly lined up so I could drill the holes in the right place but I think she looks good.
Thanks Robbie, going to wire her up tomorrow

I was under the impression that you could use them only on your high beam and they had to be under a certain size to use on the highway?palo123 wrote:i'm not 100% sure but i didn't think you were allowed to use off road lights on the road with your traditional road use lights.

Looks good however I would move your number plate as your radiator will not get any air flow

I'd assume (so correct me if I'm wrong) that they would need to conform to the beam pattern required by law for a high-beam headlight.dan00001 wrote:I was under the impression that you could use them only on your high beam and they had to be under a certain size to use on the highway?palo123 wrote:i'm not 100% sure but i didn't think you were allowed to use off road lights on the road with your traditional road use lights.
Wire them up through a switch so you can kill them for the MOT and you'll probably be fine. Probably.
Just don't get caught by the DVSA...
