Don't expect a call anytime soon, sorry.
Mine was a lot worse. Still is bad, lol. Keeps on going though.

My dads is worse too but that will be getting the treatment soon hopefully.

Shame you're selling Darrell, fingers crossed someone who wants to save it comes along.

From what you have said it seems this is a rust bucket but I will make you an offer.

Please drop me a text 07951799775

Thanks Oscar
Woah that's a comment to make on a users ride, it needs work but certainly not a rust bucket.

Looking at the past history on the MOT sites it's never even had advisories for rust, so it cannot be that terminal.

If I had the space I would consider it, but trying to save for a house first!

Well I was just out taking some photo's so as to put it on fleabay and a local chap I know offered me a couple of hundred quid. I'm a lazy sod and said I'd stick the pics on the forum and see if there is any more interest, if not it may be yours. He wants to do it up but it may well end up down fields I reckon ;)
I know some seem to fetch a lot more on ebay but not sure I can be bothered. See what you guys think first.

I took a bunch of pics as I want people to see exactly what my rust bucket is like. ;)

A few as in two?

I could be wrong, and the Sj market does vary, I'd think 3x that and it would still be a bargain.
It does depend on how the awkward to repair areas are rust wise but still its a very tidy and honest Sj by the looks of things.

Maybe try car and classic to sell it before eBay.
I think Doug on here sold his samurai easily on there.

Arches are generally crusty, rear door hinge area skanky manky, drivers door bottom disappearing, drivers side sill going/fibreglass at rear.

The worse bits...

My first SJ was a D reg 410 soft top. Had more rust than yours when I bought it and a new MOT. And had many more MOT's with the rust still there.

Darrell this is pretty solid still for an sj and tbh it doesn't look like it even needs much welding (I say that but it's hard to tell until I start properly poking around)

Most of that just needs a bit of cleaning up, treating and painting.

If I didn't already have too many projects I would have it off you,
Would be a nice restoration project. Unfortunately I haven't got the space or time at the moment.

It would easily fetch more than a few hundred on eBay, personally I would start it at least £5-600

It really wouldn't take much to make that a shiney. I wish I could have it!
