Sounds correct to me. Basically you move the switch with the rotation of the steering wheel :IE Right = clockwise = down on the right side of the steering wheel, up on the left side of the steering wheel.

Yup...I was trying to fit it the wrong way around...works fine. Got the brake lights working just got to remove the bodied light switch and get the main /dip beams working on the switch
