See I kinda like range rovers, because they are comfy off roaders :D

Still though, overly heavy and expensive!
When off roading, I used the same amount of petrol in 3-4 days in my Zook as my mate used in a night in his Rangey

Yeah when we last went down to core4x4 we both filled up at the same petrol station before we left and when we got to core. He put exactly twice the amount back in to fill it back up than I did  one reason why i'd never use a V8 in a road going 4x4.

Unless you have LPG ;)

I'm considering adding LPG to my zook to make it super-cheap :D

I reckon the whole conversion could be done for around £300. I know a registered LPG fitter though so it makes it a bit easier!

I used to really like the whole Land Rover range apart from the Freelander, however I now think all of the new ones are pretty queer, and the majority of the new ones are driven by footballers' wives type people! Yes I know that's a very large stereotype but I don't care haha!

Pre- 2005ish Land Rovers are cool, post- 2005ish ones are lame! ha

Yeah, I have nothing against Land Rovers, I just thought it was a forum joke. I never liked Freelanders. Range Rovers and Discoveries were turned into school-run-mobiles and footballer's-rides with the MK3s and current MK4s. Rangie P38 supercharged V8 went like stink and looked smart. MK2 Discos weren't much different to the MK1 save for bigger arse and cosmetic stuff. Classic Rangie wins on looks alone, and the MK1 Disco's a loveable old work-horse. Defenders haven't changed since much since the Series 3 went out of production save for engines, transmissions and trim.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

who uploaded indecent pics of... eewww range pron? yuk.

anyways... were im currently working, back before the recession, we had many nice motors.... and quite a few land rovers.. they are,, built for comfort speed and bling bling... freelanders have always been bad... didnt like the new disco's... too big and cumbersome. the sport was pointless yet most popular...

... bmw cut out the middle man... instead of making 4x4 fast and luxurous... then simple didnt call it a 4x4.... after the x5 was the x6.. which is a 7 serious thats taken sterioods and bulked up.

spent most of my days when i first started stuck in cnetral london in s class mercs... not all bad... cls class aswell. the best 2 hours was the 360 modena... but alass, recession and co. going administration soon changed that...

anyways the newest car i ever owned was an R reg about 4 years ago.

i am always going to own a banger.. or an SJ... or both. oh yeah and my love of motorbikes... will always have a bike aswell.

I like the way you separated the SJ from the bangers category there Russ
