Hello from a new member

Post by Cintia » Wed Mar 08, 2017 11:19 pm

Hi all!

My name is Cintia and I'd like to say hello to all people here :salute:
I've been dreaming of having my own car for so long that it seems absolutely unreal that soon I'll get it! :brows:
My brother is moving to another city and leaves his Suzuki SX4 for me. However, this car needs some care and repair I love it already.
But the one thing I know exactly is that I'll have to change its tyres, cause they are a little worn out and I won't feel myself safe on the road in such a way.
So I hope to get their some suggestions about where it's better to buy trusted tyres and what brands to choose.
I know that previous ones Conti were bought here http://www.tirendo.co.uk/ and my brother, Tyler, was absolutely happy with them.
Perhaps, if you wanna share some trusted online shops I'd be very grateful. :doublethumbs:

Hi and :welcome: to the forum. I'm quite new here too but you will find this a friendly place and lots of help and advice. Glad you are enjoying your Suzuki.

Regarding tyres,I have had Continentals on my other car and they were fine. I replaced those with General tyres (actually General is owned by Continental). On my Suzuki I have Yokohama winter tyres that also seem fine. Only tyres I'd avoid are the really budget ones or second hand / part worn offerings (unless they were on an 'off road' only vehicle).

:welcome2:

I tend to use setyres because they're cheap, they sort me out with no fuss and they're local to me. No idea if they have one near you, or if the guys working there are honest like the ones at my local place.

Pics of the beastie, please!
