MOT runs out Wednesday. There is too much wrong with the old wreck (especially there is a lot of rot) so regretfully decided that it must come off the road.

If I had the skills maybe I could do it up myself.

If you decide to scrap/sale it give me a shout my friend.

This is what I'm hoping to do Robbie, but my biggest problem is the bodywork; there is a lot of rot at the back. I don't know whether it is too extensive to bother with since I'm no welder and it would cost more than I can afford to have it done professionally. Could really do with someone to have a look at it and give me an opinion. (If anyone within spitting distance of me would be willing to have a look in exchange for a few beers I'd be grateful.)

I'd like to learn to do the welding myself. I could perhaps get some scraps of metal from somewhere and practice on a borrowed welder.

I did check the fuses and they seemed ok. I've double-checked them and they look ok.

You wont regret learning a bit of welding. I've been welding here and there for about 4 years and while i'm not particularly good at it, the ability to permanently stick metal together it amazing ;)
