samurai lwb - extremely clean FOR SALE
samurai lwb - extremely clean FOR SALE
I just bought this but really had a change of heart on it, I really feel I want something with a few creature comforts. Drove 6 hours from isle of white to dover no problems at all, only thing that came to my attention was the gear stick was a bit sloppy. Although the clutch is a bit high but there is a new replacement supplied with it. MOT no advisories until Feb 2017, was taken off the road to be restored by the previous owner for 2 years, no rot or rust, near enough original. I just really had a change of heart and just after my money back what I paid for it, any more questions or pics let me know! Thanks

Wow, it does look tidy! I love those wing mirrors, aren't they ace? Like truck ones.

Technical question - is that a poppy on the front bumper?
Someone will bite your hand off for that
I realise you are passing this on, but before the proud new owner does a clutch check the cable and adjust or replace - I put a new clutch in mine recently cos the old was high so I assumed - and the plates were excellent, it was the cable needed adjusting and has probably stretched too. The gear selector is surely the stud bolt that engages into lever - very quick and cheap to do. I made my own out of a high-tensile M8 20mm (from memory) bolt - works great and gear selection like a race car (similar anyway).

I think you're possibly lowballing yourself with that price, but good luck with the sale! I'd be interested if I had somewhere to put it. And, y'know, money.
