Funny really, my SJ has the cylinder on the bottom of the shoes rather than the top

8-) Thanks for the welcome's guys.
Nah Dan it was doing f-all, I took a look at the handbrake cables today and one of the cables wasn't in its location point next to the hand brake lever,so with a bit of fiddling about , it's all working now.
See, we don't have MOT over here and 'some' Locals must drive around in death traps :screwy:

fyi i think the cylinders are supposed to be at the top, but at some point have been swapped around. Mine were on the bottom too. Bit stupid to have them on the bottom as it drags the bleed nipples through any mud you go through!

Now all the brakes are working as they should, I thought it would be a good idea to check how bad the rear floor pan behind the rear seats is for rust and um' :| after firing up the grinder :guns: I'm left with this vvv

Hello and welcome, if the back is that you might wanna check the foot wells behind the seats.

Looks like you have your work cut out with that.

Don't think previous owner has been too conscious about safety.

Cheers Robbie, yeah I removed all seats and carpet and there was some rut, mainly driver side.
All patched up now

Next job is check out the springs and shocks, because it seems to have a bit of a Gangsta Lean to the right :|
