Ridiculous.

The damage to a walker, child, cyclist, horse/rider could be huge.

The risk of a serious traffic accident as a 4x4 or motorbike rejoins the main road and suffers a blowout at speed is significant too.

If the offenders are caught they need to be seriously punished.

I done that lane the other weekend, luckily I didn't find these, on the other hand have found some byways with the same done, to which it's reported to the local ROW officer, and then destroyed at home!
