Hi there,
I am totally new to owning a SJ 413. The mechanic here in Cape Verde speaks little english and has told me there is a problem with the segment? I have no idea what this is and what i need to get in parts to fix it. Any help would be appreciated and any parts needed where can i get.

it is apparently a ring that is failing and leaking oil into the engine and causing low pressure...make any sense?

Could be a piston ring but it would be expensive to buy some to find out it was something else he needs and its got lost in translation.

1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!
