I run a mk2golf gti sileencer and then a cherry bomb back box on my sj and haven't had any problems. It'a not that loud running around town but as aoon as you open it up and when cruising at above 50 it's pretty loud.

Not sure what one would sound like a diesel, nothing to say you cant try it? But it might sound like a tractor

If you have a turb, then a cheery bomb would sound... amazing!

well cheers guys for all the comments and to be honest it was never that loud with out a exhaust, we put a cherry bomb on it and it made it quieter  (all straight through no middle boxes etc) so i then put a rage on it and its deeper tone  but still not loud  , so at the moment im running a cherry bomb and a rage

cheers tom

Can you post a pic, I'm about to redo my exhaust and want it a little quieter, I'm thinking keep the cherry bomb but add a better silencer in the middle as the vw ones a bit dead

Not exactly an early reply but my 413 passed the MOT with a cherry no probs. I'm just using the front silencer, junked the rear. It sounds amazing, especially on the over run!

I know that cherry bomb exhaust does not run on diesel and they are not legal. Get another kind of exhaust system dude.
