Re: Elsie
I think a 1200 Bandit would be too big and heavy for my intentions.Just missed out on a mint 600 Thundercat.Would love to re kindle my love for Suzy GT500`s but they fetch silly money now.I haven`t got to start serious commuting until Feb 2016 so no panic yet.Seen a Gilera runner 200 which looks fun,we`ll see lol.
Still looking for Buckeye road.

Re: Elsie
I love classic Jap bikes but as for commuting on one...unless I had stripped the thing down and rebuilt it myself I wouldn't chance it. The LC is going to be a sunny day only bike. I'd happily ride my ZXR all day long but I did rebuild that!

Re: Elsie
Still trying to paint the tank...every time I think it's ready for the top coat I spot another tiny blemish. I'll get there one day. Did get a sidepanel painted though!

Re: Elsie
Painted the lower part satin black as it should be and had a trial fit. Decided on the 2 tone blue stickers...£60 for a set (gulp)

Re: Elsie
She lives again! Side panels and seat unit are on, the tank can sodding wait I want this MOT'd so I can ride the thing. Was a nail biting moment...did my carb rebuild work? Filled her up and fifth kick she fired up...what a fantastic noise from the Allspeeds. Will insure her tomorrow then book an MOT. Can't see why she would fail but fingers xxd anyway!

Re: Elsie
Is it a genuine simpson helmet? There`s me saying a 1200 bandit would be too heavy for commuting and I end up with a bloody Thunderace.Sometimes I just don`t listen to my own logic :(
