Vitara extended front shocks......

Post by 1995 Zuk » Thu Jun 18, 2015 10:06 am

Hi, if there is a post about this sorry for repeating, but unable to find, spent ages looking.

Right Question is what other manufacturers front shocks fit on a Vitara? thinking of ones that will give a 3" lift.
Yep I know you can get spacers, but they must have some limits using standard shocks.

Have heard Frontera fit but not found any research to say that.

F.Y.I.
107 rear shocks fit a Vitara a treat, unlike Astra ones no need to drill hole out, or have to make bottom fixing fit snugly. and they are also about an inch longer.

Cheers.

I used GV coils and GV shocks for a 2" lift. Going higher with a Jimnybits lift kit later on...if I ever get the time to fit it!
If it ticks over...leave it

The spacers work very well. In stock form the struts have around 2" of unused travel with the wishbone hard against the bumpstop, lowering the struts allows all the travel to be used.
