Re: Twiss' Samurai 16v
Well as you can probably tell the odometer hasn't been working for some years now... but last time the guy was getting annoyed that it didn't work so when he asked what it was I may have added a few on
Just been out for a test drive down a few narrow tracks, can happily report that my damp proof coursing has held up quite nicely against attacking foliage,
There is even a nice coating of mud on the undersides so they must be working!

Re: Twiss' Samurai 16v
Why don't you just fix the speedo. Technically you are clocking the Sj, hopefully it won't flag up on vosa's system

Re: Twiss' Samurai 16v
Its been a while since I updated my build thread!
Since coming to Malta I have put on some coily +2" rear shocks... fixed the speedo cable, wired it up to take 100w bulbs, and now spotlights!
Some more impressive mods to come at some point lol

Re: Twiss' Samurai 16v
Yeah I am going to get around it by putting my suspension, shell, transmission, etc onto a maltese samurai chassis

Re: Twiss' Samurai 16v
Its been a while since I updated this!
Getting on with swapping my chassis for a maltese one now
Zook in its temporary home
Roof off and chassis on the drive
Had to fit some standard size wheels to lower it enough to get the engine out, looks rather stupid
Engine out!
There it is
Rear axle nearly off, with the nice snapped shock mount
