Yea. Dyanes an awesome car but no heater blower is a bit
Of a hassle in the mornings
Tin tops just had its first weld today!
It had rusted through around the throttle mount /
Bulkhead. So took the front clip off and let in
Some fresh metal. Im trying to bounce between
This and the bitza zuk.
New steering box tomorrow and front clip back on.

Think I spoke to soon.
Losing water and steamy tailpipe.
On the good note the steering box was swapped out today.
So much better. old one was very worn and leaked bbadly.
Everything removed / refitted was cleaned and painted.
Found a failed mounting bracket on the rad so will take that back to get
It brazed back on. Its only 3yr old so should be a cheap fix.

Re: introducing short zuke
I would have thought so. It looks like a basic oil
Seal so I cant imagen its hard to get. Ive got two more boxes
kicking around so ill probably just bung One of those on
or change the oil for grease
Its so much better tho. I used to look like someone driving
In a fiftys movie when I was driving straight.
Changing the gearstick and location bolt made a world of difference
They came of a gearbox ive had spare for ages that I got from paul.
Think the breaker had about 55k on it so less than half of mine
In mine The bolt had snapped and the selector had worn flat.
I put a thin m8 washer on the locator bolt to rotate it
90º so it was using a non worn edge.

I use the lane through Steppingley wood. It's along the
Back of the new centre parcs. Nice lane for a sunny day.
A lot of off piste damage one end which is a shame.
