Re: Project KJA
Gocha. So you'd have to rewire them so that the front sidelights come on with the indicators not the sidelights if you went full amber.
And then you'd need sidelights in your headlights or something.
I have actually read that bit of the MOT manual before, for some reason the bit about only having red lights on the rear is the only bit that stuck with me.

Re: Project KJA
Sorry should have said, there is side lights in the headlights, I updated them. Oops,
So it doesn't matter if I use the originals or just plane Amber, or led
I'm kinda leaning towards the original ones, not sure why tho..
Just means running a few more wires to get the side lights working again.

couldn't resist to have gander
now it gets difficult, as i have no power or welder :( its going to take a lot of measuring and drawings, making bits up my dads and then bringing it back to check, I'm a sod for building things and working it out as i go along.

Re: Project KJA
update,
managed to track down some nuts to fit the wiper spindles, what a pain that was!
they where to long and had to cut them down but they are fine. wipers fitted and working great, even had a bit of a test. also fitted the washer jet as i lost it, had to take the gauges and vents out to get at it, my fault door on, looks good i hope, just got to change the bolts on the door for stainless ones, to match the ones in the wing, but it started raining :( not too bad, just waiting for some new clips to come for the door cards, a few seem to be missing.
but coming along nicely, quite chuffed

Re: Project KJA
Can you get a close up pic of the switches you have mounted underneath the air vent. That does look interesting.
If it ticks over...leave it
