I have got a cone cutter somewhere. I'll have to dig it out.

Yeah i'm quite wary of the axle bending. When i welded the perches i only did 10mm welds at a time and let it cool down inbetween.

Time for a small update. Can't belive i started work on these axles a year ago  and there still not finished  .

This is how there looking at the moment. Perches have been moved and all the trussing has been finished. Just waiting on a couple of diff gaurds to turn up, so i can finish the welding and get them all painted.

Hopping to get them on by the end of the month.

might be my eyes, but it looks as if the perches on the front axle aren't on at the same angle? good work though, looks worthy to be used under a steam locomotive used offroad! :D
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

I rekon that's just the angle of the camera, but it does look like they're not level with each other. Optical illusion I think, because the camera is much closer to one perch than the other.

Nice work, Ferris!

Finally got my delivery from Low Range Off-road today :D

A couple of diff gaurds and a truss kit.

1" body lift, and axle rebuild kit plus various gaskets and seals

Also thought id try these Trail Gear wheel bearing lock nuts. Im forever having to tighten my front wheel bearings, and the normal lock washers with the tabs you bend over tend to brake once you've taken them on and off a few times.
