Re: Project KJA
rear pretty much done, just got to paint the guard and wheel arches, then reattach the light cable and put the light back on. found my paints ruined so I've got to get more grrrrrrr :(
finished raising the tank, i made spacers from 25mm bar and drilled and tapped on the lathe, job done, nice and solid, more than enough room, and also made a lifter plate for the filler hose.
looking good i hope still works a treat

Re: Project KJA
I didn't have a rear bed couldn't afford to but a suitable replacement , My theory is, it's wood and angle, if it gets bashed with the tractor, digger It would probably take it better and can just fix it easily. If it was all original Itwould be garenteed to get trashed and ruined.
Plus I think it looks funky..

that's the style of beds the suzuki pickup's came out with around here, except no tipping mechanism, I'm not jealous at all!
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Re: Project KJA
I think the wood looks better than the standard steel bed.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
