How do you mean? Like sprayed the ball which the swivel seal seals against?

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think these particularly need lubricating?

The seal is essentially there to keep debris out of the inside of the steering knuckle I think?

LOL, yeah it doesn't take long before they start to self lubricate...

Nice, although I'd be astonished if one set of axle oil seals have lasted 94,000 miles! :jawdrop:

I only put it in 4 wheel drive when i bought years ago so as you say it would probably leak if used thus
i did replace the gaskets that keeps dirt out of the swivels about 5 years ago ......probably needs doing again now.....

I'm sure it will be fine, the swivel seals/gaskets are only there to keep mud and water out, it's the inner axle oil seal that can fail and allow diff oil into the knuckles. When it's kept in 2wd and if it has free wheeling hubs fitted then the axle isn't spinning in the seal so it's less likely to leak even if it's gone hard.
