Rear seat belts

Post by Edweird » Tue May 25, 2010 8:29 pm

Hey up lads,

Sorry to keep pestering you with completely unrelated and probably annoying trivial threads.

My truck's a 1984 410 with a rear bench seat but no belts. I was just wondering if anyone could supply me with pictures of the rear belts in a similar vehicle/on a similar seat, showing the places the belts bolt to and such.

Thanks, and again, sorry to pester, Ed.

Hey Ed,
No problem matey ,
If you lift up the carpet behind the bench seat , you will see 4 little rubber covers, pop off the covers and this is where the belts are bolted to.

i try and up load photos shortly

Also Ed,

any car built, first registered before 1987 (uk) are exempt from rear seat belts.

but i would recommend having them fitted.

Awesome, thanks a million Dom. That's exactly what I needed.

They're just lap belts then. I'm guessing any belt will to pretty much, so I'll snag a pair from somewhere.
