Shes a keeper

So the misses corsa has decided to end it all.

So today we set out to look at a vast array of mind numbingly boring
Modern fart boxes. We looked at many little modern cars which to me is similar
To looking at a row of washing machines and trying to pick which
Ones the best. Urgh.

At one dealers in a long row of cars there was two id buy.
And she picked the same ones!

A burnt orange clio 182 , awesome little toys these. But a bit brutal

The other "cute" car involved me checking the chassis and floor pan :mrgreen:
But it was pretty crusty so we left

Tomorrow we go to look at more jimnys. . . .

Nice. Be wary of the boot floor and death wobble. Great car though as per all Suzuki's.

If she's thinking of a clio make sure it's had the belts done & dephaser, oh and auxillary belt at the same time it's a specialist job and costs around £600-800, (dephaser & belt costs £250 in parts then aux belt & tensioner at £80 genuine) as if they go they can wrap around bottom pulley and take cambelt out.

Make sure it has been looked after paperwork plenty of or it will come back and bite you they are french.

Suzuki jimny is a better bet but totally different to a clio.

Clio's get a bad rep just for being French, the last Clio I had was a 172 which I owned for over 3 years and it did not let me down once.

Well today we looked at another.

Little corrosion on the floor and a couple of dents. "Mode"
Spec so half leather with black interior. 53 plate 57k tin top.

But I had to rush the inspection as the auction ended within the hour.
Seems an honest little motor.

We sat and i stuck a bid in. Got out bid. Misses was
A bit sad and deflated. She really like the car.
She said maybe another £50? I ummd a aghhhed
But actually already thort sod it and up my bid anyway while she was
thinking it over :mrgreen:

Cue 4 mins of me hoping she wasn't going to say
That she had changed her mind and didn't want a jimny

So £2159 later we have a new zook in the family.
And plenty of Brownie points for me.

My cars a peugeot, but my misses bought a 172 we must've spent £3k on it... Same as any car if they're not looked after they'll bite you on the arse... cost you later..
