That must have been scary, glad to hear that she is mostly OK, I do hope that she recovers quickly.

Waaayyyy Im alive!!!!!! Really pleased about that fact. Being a girl it is hard to remain calm however apparently I am the best type of person in a crisis... as soon as it happened my first thought was ' right hazards on'! After a brief moment of wondering why my personal belongings seemed to be stuck to my passenger door window I picked it all up and escaped from the boot (after reclining the back seats which is a feature I love) and calmed everyone else down.
I have achieved several things today: I have never thrown away £2500 willy nilly, never crashed into a tree/ditch or sideways, never had breathaliser test, and never been read my rights by a police officer.
All I can say is thank god I was driving that truck, it took the impact for me so I could escape pretty much intact apart from the glass in my hands, eyes and everywhere else you wouldn't believe glass could get... I loved that car and love it more even though its sat looking very sorry for itself on the drive.
SUZUKI ALL THE WAY!
...and thanks guys for the help, and I know you enjoyed getting to play with your toys!

Seeing the bigger pictures, yeah, it must have been a hell of a bump but it clearly took it like a champ. Glad you're okay Helen.

I know I'm a bit biased towards Suzuki but its taken it bang smack in the middle of both A pillars and on the roof and it all stayed largely in shape. I'm really impressed!

Re: Helens GV is no more!!! :(
I've seen a Discovery that has rolled over on a side slope and the A pillars gave way. If you drew a straight line from the top of the B-pillar to the end of the bonnet the roof was like that.
