Newbie from Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, scotland. (Vitara 1.6 8v)

Post by Zuki_12 » Fri Jan 09, 2015 10:52 am

hi everybody,
i've got myself a 1.6 8v vitara from ebay. it was misfiring and sounded horrible so when igot it home i whipped off the head to discover the head gasket had a huge section missing between cylinders 2 and 3. (not the greatest of starts!!) I've replaced the gasket and all is well with the world.
I've got a small patch of welding to do before its MOT and then i'm looking forward to getting it out and about. :P

Cheers

Scotty

:welcome: to the club.

You THINK you have a small patch of welding to do. ;)

I hope it is only small.
