Advice after fitting 2/3" lift springs

Post by Josh-holden » Fri Dec 26, 2014 9:50 pm

Iv just fitted 2/3" lift springs and when the truck is sat on the floor the shackles are nearly vertical and at different angles either side? Is this ok or is it a problem?

The springs look a bit short... Do you know what type they are? Where did you get them? Will.probably be an uncomfortable ride like that

They are made by smj. They are a good few years old
And been on a couple of trucks to my knowledge so
A well made spring.

I never tried them on the road but id imagen they could
Be quite a stiff spring.

When the spring flattens under articulation, the shackle will go back to where it was before. That shackle looks like it's in roughly the right place for a 3" lift spring to my relatively untrained eye.
