Pump ?
Re: Pump ?
Thanks for the help lads i shall order that one today , hope i get that idiot proof guide wif that on jordi lol , just a quicki could i put it under bonnnet or does it nee to go near tank ? and could i connect some sort of gauge for my dash to keep a eye on pressure , thanks
Re: Pump ?
Usually they need to be near the tank because they are 'pusher' type pumps, there should be fitting instructions with it which should state how high it can be mounted relative to the tank.

Re: Pump ?
I expect it will want running via a relay fused straight off the battery.
You can wire them in with the oil pressure switch so it stops running if the engine has stopped but I believe you need a special oil pressure switch for this, as it needs power to start in the first place.
Wondering what people do for a filter ??, can you still use the original filter before the new pump.
I assume it won't handle the pressure if fitted after the pump. I'm sure you could fit a aftermarket filter that would though.

Re: Pump ?
Use a high pressure filter, a Vit one would be OK. You should run it off a relay controlled from the ECU as per the original 16V wiring, that maintains the Ignition fail Safe function.
