Cheers

It’s copper rich Upol weld #2 primer. I use it on any overlapping seam before welding just for that extra bit of rust prevention.

So I had a bit of an issue with one of the panels, it had some oil canning and a high spot that refused to shrink after a few hours of panel beating so out came the angle grinder. Not ideal but I want the body on this as close to perfect as possible, unfortunately it meant cutting out a section I had already done.

Started slowly tacking it on and working the steel between each tack to stretch out any shrinking.

Will slowly be welding it up next time I’m at the unit.

did you try shrinking it by heating and quenching with a oxy/acetalyne torch? we did that on my sj, seems to work a treat, fairly tricky to get it perfect, bit of a knack to figure out where to heat and quench though
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Yeah I use that method quite a bit, it got it close but I wasn’t happy with it, seemed to just get to a point where it wouldn't shrink anymore with that panel, it was odd.

its great stuff, ive not used the copper version. only the zinc based one.

DO NOT EVER! buy the halfords own stuff. its just the worst, im certain its just standard primer.
