Re: king pin bearings have gone in my 410 axle
Thats the exact same swivel seal that I fitted to mine last month the felt bit is a seperate item you need to order two halves for either side. When you fit the rubber swivel seal soak it in hot water first as this will make it easier to get over the end of the axle.

Re: Fitting YJ springs to a Samurai
I would strongly advise not re-drilling the springs as they will snap through the old hole. I personally would move the rear spring shackle eye back by 3" then I would make the chassis extensions into a rear bumper to absorb the overhang of the mounts

Re: 16v thats lost its spark. Help request
Well there is only two relays bolted to the ecu mount. The fuel fump relay is the one with a pink wire and pink with black tracer wire. This pink with black tracer feeds the fuel pump so it should have 12v on it when the ignition is on in 2nd position

Re: king pin bearings have gone in my 410 axle
Just remember to fit the outer bearing races the correct way with the larger end of the taper facing outwards and you should fit the outer and inner bearing races together as they will be matched pair

Re: Fitting YJ springs to a Samurai
2.5" more is quite a lot. This will result in either the wheel being 2.5" further forward/back or a long chassis extension on the front/rear. I dont think you will be able to make a pair of plain shackles for the rear to mount to the standard shackle eye when using the navara leafs you wil...

Re: Fitting YJ springs to a Samurai
Interesting dont know how they will flex or how comfy they will be but at that price with the mounting kit its a very cheap alternative which is readily available . Is the centre pin actually in the middle of the springs its hard to tell looking at the pics. Oh and yeah progress pics are compulsory!

Re: Fitting YJ springs to a Samurai
I found that the templates i found on the net did not really fit that well its much easier to remove your springs and line up the yj's and make a template to suit how you want the springs to sit. You must consider height and spring centre position. When i fitted mine I managed to lower my sj by fitt...
