rear wheel bearing?

sounds like wheel bearing rotation noise, and there is play at the wheel so i know its probably just the bearing, but could it be anything else aswell?

is there a bearing at the end of the half shaft too? or is this where the wheel bearing is located?
or is the bearing on the drum?

cheers

Re: extreme 'wobble'

did you say you have checked/replaced you lift shackles? this is what was causing mine. the king pins was just making it worse. if you still cant fine it see if you can get it on a automated flat ramp (for mot's) as these can really shake the car about and bring up all sorts that you may not normall...

king pins

i bought the bearings and come with a drive shaft seal kit. but when i was gonna fit them, the person helping me said i should get new king pins and swivel seal?

will the old pins be worn/stuck to a point where new ones would be better?

anyone else had these problems?

Re: extreme 'wobble'

hi, i got the bearings and was gonna fit them today, and i had a mate who knows about this sort of set up better then me (i'm new skool =/ ) he said not worth risking takin the bearing out to find that the king pins a fooooked. i agreed as if they were it would be stuck on a ramp in his bosses work ...
