I was thinking about welding rear diff, does make much difference on the road? i.e;dangerous.

road legal?

Hi just spent weekend knocking up cage over main part of cab and around the wings.Brother shows up and wondered if it is now road legal given that i have reduced the crumple zones :lol:

Firstly if it was me i would loose the lift shackles straight away. If you find that once you have lost them that you still require more lift, then i would look to increase the spings in the sping packs. Your tires are very small for the amount of lift, and i guess that it might be quite un stable?...

Decided to go for modified rims which i sorted today. Got some part worn 31's to fit at the weekend and then get sorted for SPOA. :P

Not sure if your joking or not! I race stockcars in my sparetime :?: and some drivers run up to 8inch offset but also do drive shafts on a regular basis! I was thinking about this problem on the sj.

That was quick! Only using them off road so not high speed if that makes any difference.
