Does the carb clear with the vacuum takeoff spacer removed? You need to remove that spacer anyway as the vacuum takeoff is on the wrong side of the butterfly with that fitted. As expected clash when SU carb fitted. Wilwood valve easy movement. but seems the Rockwatt modified manifold does not move the carb away from the servo / master cylinder enough.

Old brake lines. After trip to Earls at Silverstone, replacement lines. Provisional position of Wilwood valve, to be verified after installation SU carb & air cleaner.

What needs doing?

As I have upgraded the brake system throughout, rear discs , Wilwood proportioning valve, new hard and flexibles seemed sensible to get the servo / master cylinder looked at.

Radiator dropped so that bonnet closes as it should.
