Hardtop Vitara with MOT WANTED.East Anglia area.
I'm looking for a hardtop Vit,with MOT,in reasonable condition and running well.Want to spend around £500-£600.I live in Norfolk but will travel a bit - but not too far .Cheers.

Martin,thats my"box of spares" for my SJ,i've had several bits and pieces off it over the months.Anton,if i WD40 my seats - would it make them more comfortable? .

Thanks for the advice.I have had many of these SJ'S and Vits over the last 25 years but not had one for around 8-9 years and i think i've forgotten how horribly they drive when they've had a few mods .

Thanks.To be honest I don't know if they are standard shackles or longer,i bought it with the suspension as it is.It has got 4 section leafsprings - I've got a spare SJ for bits in my garden,i'll have a look and compare them.It seems to feel every bump which sends the wheels all over the place. Mind...

One new MOT on it today,Hoorahhhh!!.
Drives like a pig on the road and I hate it BUT I like the way it looks - front arches have got to be trimmed and moved forward and I'm going to make some rock sliders for it in the next few days and maybe a cab roll bar.

Thanks Rhinoman,all working now.I think the pump had semi seized over the last 4 or 5 months of not being started and has now loosened itself up.

I've had the pump out of the tank and its got 2 wires,an earth and live,i tried it on a 12v battery and it worked so I guess its not earthed through the tank itself.I am wondering whether I have a blockage in the fuel pipes up to the engine - i'll blow them through tomorrow.I'll post a couple of the...

Took out the fuel tank from my 95 Samurai fuel injection to clean it and paint it up.Put it back in - won't start.I couldn't hear the in tank pump doing anything,so took tank off again,took the in tank pump out and tested on the bench - working fine.Put it back in etc etc,turned the ignition on and ...
