Re: Anyone near Bristol that can help?

HI Scottie, It is in Bath, I am in Bristol. I think I have sorted a trailer, and trying to arrange collection on Saturday. Once I get it home I have the space, tools and knowledge to fix it just need that parts, so may get in touch once I know what is needed if that is ok? Thankyou for the offer!

Re: Newbie from Bristol.

Cheers Scottie, that's some spot on advice!! I think ill keep my eyes out for a tidy rust free standard SJ and mod it my self to my taste and the good advice on here, at least that way I know what standard the workmanship is! I might take you up on the Drive of your SJ if I don't get one soon enough!

Also where is the best online shop for buying bits for SJ's?

Ebay doesn't seem to be that full of spares and suspensions parts etc.

Re: Newbie from Bristol.

Looks like an SJ it is then. Just got to find one that meets the needs for the right price. I am trying to get to grips with the mods needed to make it as capable as my Defender. I am thinking I need at least 31" tyres and therefore some kind of lift... I am reading alot of negativity about SPO...
