Re: Zuwharrie 2018 & Pop Quiz

Re: LJC 160

Thanks Tim. These Yanks don't do a bad job. I took delivery of the LJC at Gonzookin 18. (I'm having really bad withdrawal symptoms. We need more Suzuki events over here.) I've been driving it around town for the last month and the TK1 Racing antiroll bar in the rear has really done the trick limitin...

Re: LJ50 in the UK

Leigh Catherick restored one about 20 years ago. It was imaculate and went to a buyer in South London.
For a guy who's had loads of LJs it was the only LJ50 he's ever seen, and he's always on the lookout for it to have back.
I've never seen one in the UK.

Re: LJC 160

Jordi, Thanks, the front is kind of a tribute to my favorite Suzuki, the LJ20 which we never got in the UK. I got some final bits in readiness for Gonzookin. I was experiencing too much side roll as the as the suspension on the uphill side wanted to unload so a roll bar was needed. I had some crappy...

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp

Good news on the cheap fix which I thought you may have already done.
but
Selfishly disappointed as I really want to see how the Vitara radiator goes in. Hope you still have a bash at it.

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp

It's a sign !!!

Jordi.... Interesting. I'll have to get the dimensions of the 2, cos now they're cheaper with only a few $ in it.... it kind of makes sense.

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp

Eh ? Well I'm glad I was at least able to make you "lol" I assumed your fins were fine and your radiator clean as for all your pics, I haven't seen any of it off-roading or on long journeys, just broken down or parked up on the roadside, locally, like a pavement princess. ;p (Oh no I didn'...

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp

Oil Cooler ? My LHD LJ160 spent 15 years in the South of Portugal as a farm work truck in blistering summer temperatures pulling tillers and carting 100s of kilos of fruit in the summer heat which is picking time. It still has its 1300 rad from 20 years ago when it was built by Leigh, the same guy w...
