Re: Need specs/part numbers for oxygen sensors - GV 2009 2.0
Changed the sensor, but there is still an issue. A mechanic specialised on electronic injection tested the car and thinks the ECM has been damaged by some short-circuit (which makes sense, since a fuse on the oxygen sensor was blown). Now I am looking for a replacement :-(

Re: Need specs/part numbers for oxygen sensors - GV 2009 2.0
I bought a refurbished one from a totalled Suzuki, and it is a Denso with the same reference. It seems to be working (as far as resistances are correct, because my engine is still open). My mechanic also told me that ALL valves were leaking. What could have make that happen on a 50K km engine? The e...

Re: Need specs/part numbers for oxygen sensors - GV 2009 2.0
Sorry for the delay, just got the engine opened today and the lambda sensor that was installed was a Denso 65J0 211200-4520. Googling for it, looks like it is not the correct one for my car.
1995 Zuk, that isn't the correct one.

Re: Need specs/part numbers for oxygen sensors - GV 2009 2.0
Well, that would explain a lot (even that my mechanic says that those generic sensors do not work well). Considering that these seem to last for 150K+ km, I don't see a market for it.
I will probably go for a "refurbished" one, as I can buy 3 or 4 for the price of one new.
Thanks anyway!

Re: Need specs/part numbers for oxygen sensors - GV 2009 2.0
Suzuki Brazil called me back about the part, the code is right.
Do you suggest any online retailer that might have this in the Europe? I am having a hard time finding it in Ebay UK, and as I have a friend that will leave the UK in the next months it might be a good option for me.

Well, I just measured the resistance and got 1 ohm and 15 ohm. Looks like this sensor is done.

Need specs/part numbers for oxygen sensors - GV 2009 2.0l
Hi lads, I am from Brazil and I have a Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.0l, petrol, engine J20A. Matter of fact is that my first heated oxygen sensor (the one between engine and catalytic conversor) is not working properly and I need to find a replacement. The original one sold from Suzuki is 3 to 4 times more...
