I have been looking around a bit online and such, being on the market for a lift-kit myself. I think, for me, that new original-height leafsprings and new shock-absorbers will be plenty for me as the original springs on my SJ is pretty much all flat. Is there much water-vapor in your exhaust? CHeck with your hand and see if it gets wet. If you look at the level of engine-coolant and give her some throttle, does it change?

I can only assume when in the cranking position the switch is disconnecting the ignition circuit.
Unplug the ignition switch and get the multimeter on it I guess.
