X90 seats

Does anyone know if I can fit seats from another model, Vitara, Jimny etc. into my X90? Hopefully something will fit without having to do to much alteration. Never thought the blue seats matched the red paintwork. Thanks in advance.

Re: x90 in blue for sale :')

I have one of these and love it. 65000 miles on the clock with full service history. 4x4 in fantastic condition. Probably one of the best in the country.

Another new problem and another new thread.

I now have the tickover issue sorted but the engine has now developed another problem. Looks like the head gaskets gone. It's loosing water from the back of the engine below the distibrutor. I don't think there's anything in this area water related other than the head gasket. Also have some Mayo ins...

Re: New problem, new thread.

Thanks to all who offered advice. Think the problem is now sorted. Renewed gaskets on carb and all seems to be OK. Looks like it was pulling in air. However I now have another problem. Looks like the head gaskets gone. Time for a new thread.

Re: New problem, new thread.

Thanks for that Tramp, will ring webcon on Monday and see if they have any suggestions. Pretty sure I have everything blanked off on the manifold which isn't needed but will double check tomorrow.

Re: New problem, new thread.

Thanks for the suggestion Robbie, just took diaphragm out to check it and it looks OK.
Got some details from base of carb,32DGR and 173 9.
Do these give a clue as to which carb it is?
Loads of service kits on EBay but nothing that matches these details.

Re: New problem, new thread.

Thanks for the reply. Spent ages cleaning the manifold with a wire brush before fitting it, pretty sure there's no cracks in it. Also fitted new gasket so don't think it's pulling any air in. The carb came off the KJA I bought off Jordi a while back so don't know if it's ever been serviced or cleane...

Re: New problem, new thread.

I fitted the Weber as soon as I got the car, didn't run it with the old carb. It's always ticked over a bit on the high side but seems to be worse since I fitted the new manifold and more eratic, revs jump around a bit. It drives fine on the road it's just when I come to a junction or pull over that...

New problem, new thread.

Thought it best to start a new thread as the original problem I had with the manifold is now sorted. New problem is, I cannot get the revs to drop below 1200 at tickover even when the engine is up to temperature. The rev counter needle jumps between 1200 and 1500. Checked hoses for leaks as Twiss su...

Re: Engine overheating or maybe not.

Thanks for the reply Twiss. Checked hoses and cannot find any leaks. Got the tickover screw backed right off so it's no longer touching the lever it's meant to control, makes no difference, still running fast and eratic. Took it for a spin round the block and it runs fine apart from the vibration I ...
