Sorted the fuel pressure and we have power again . Changed the EGR but can't get a gasket . Does anyone know where I can get one in the UK or is gasket sealant ok ? . Has anyone blanked off the egr ? And is it ok to do so ? . Thank you .

Pretty sure yes . It's exactly the same symptoms on the new engine as the old . The only part swapped from old is the alternator .

Also the only part I have used on both of the engines is the alternator. It was brand new and on the truck when it had the original engine fitted . It looks different to the original one I had on the replacement engine . Seeing the one I had was new I naturally changed it. Thank you

Everything changed Inc distributer . Plugs, leads etc etc . When I remove the lead from the second cylinder from the front there is no drop in revs . It has great compression .
